SEED cafe Midvalley

If you are looking for cheap, delicious and comfortable ambience for makan place and near to your favourite apparel store, you should read this.

I couldn’t think of better words to describe the cafe, thus, I quote the site.

Seed Cafรฉ, is chic personified. It exudes a cool aura and this is its main selling point. The restaurants concept adapts a contemporary and simple outlook. The design and decoration gels in with Seedโ€™s youthful and trendy image. Itโ€™s simple and tempting, serving a mix of Asian and Western food. (taken from Seed Cafe site)

There was not many people (there were 2 or 3 people that time, around 7pm) so we got our meal pretty quick (in 10 minutes I reckon). I didn’t even managed to finish reading magazines which are conveniently placed near customers’ dining table.

SEED cafe is a perfect place for fashionistas to hang out. After you had done your shopping, fill your stomach with good food from SEED cafe. The food is absolutely delicious and addictive (now I sound like chefs from UK. haha). Even Nisa had craving of SEED cafe’s chicken chop when she was in Perak.

Behold! I’m going to show off some good food from SEED cafe~ Continue reading

Cupcakes fad

Omark said cupcake is a fad, but I believe good one will last long. People are opting for cupcakes because they are easily edible, because it comes in smaller size. It is different from cakes. They can heavily decorated, and it’s just so cute. The one that I got from Omark required me to eat messily.

But the one that I got from Shaz, makes me feel like having cupcakes for wedding. Even my friend told me the cupcakes look so wedding-y. I really like them. It’s not greasy, the chocolate is heaven. Nice texture and taste. Thanks to Izyan for suggesting it in her blog.

sizzling stonegrill restaurant

If you’re a person who always complaint how your steak is done (too raw/bloody/overcooked/burnt), this is the restaurant where you can’t do so because you are your own chef ๐Ÿ˜‰

We were eating at sizzling stone grill and I was so happy because it was worth it. Economically and gastronomically. We need to queue for about 10 minutes before we can get our own table. Imagine how packed it was. But yeah, good food is worthwhile to be waited.

the concept is easy. You were given your stone and you cook your meat according to your liking. The idea comes from New Zealand where the stone will be heated to 400 degrees and it uses ‘dry cooking’. So, no oil, less fat and healthy eating.

what we ate

Stonegrill dining enables patrons to enjoy a meal freshly grilled to personal taste, whether it be rare, medium or well done. When a Stonegrill meal is presented at the table, diners simply turn over their Stonegrill selection, then cut and side-lay a portion or two, allowing these to sear and cook to their liking. Their meal remains hot and enjoyable, as the natural volcanic stone retains a “prime” cooking temperature for 30 minutes, allowing diners to eat at leisure, with every bite as hot and delicious as the first.

The absence of oils or fats and the quick searing of the product at a specific temperature, ensures a delicious and healthier meal, which is lower in calories than traditional cooking methods.

So the concept is from New Zealand but the volcanic stone is from Australia. Isn’t it unique? It offers ostrich meal and being super hungry I was, I took menu that offers variety and quantity. So we chose mixed grill (chicken, lamb and sirloin), fried rice (I like it better actually, haha!), mango juice and fruit punch. Total to be paid is RM50.20. Not so bad I reckon. In addition, I like the ambience and it’s interior. They build a platform which looks like tree house platform and underneath is children’s play area. It maximise the space and creates natural effect. So leave the kids while you’re having dinner with your loved ones. Haha.

Musim buah

Haha.

Kemudian melantaklah mengikut nafsu anda. Anda akan tersenyum lebar dan berasa gembira.

Crazy craving

Omark asked me whether I like Indian food or not. I was like “u crazy? i love love love it”. When I was in secondary school and fancy mee goreng mamak and capati so much, my mom cursed me “macam ni kamu kene kawen ngan mamak. bole la tiap2 ari dia masak mee. baru name mee mamak betul”. Huu (-_-)

I used to order Indian food weekly when I was in Plymouth, especially when I came back from work (because I know i’d be bloody hungry and tired). The best that I’ve ever tasted is “Veggie Perrins“. It’s a vegetarian restaurant, friendly owner and posh restaurant. The price isย  affordable and you will feel that you want to pay more to the owner because of the food, the service and the posh place. *wipe saliva*

Now, where do I get such cuisine in Malaysia? I wonder where good Indian chefs go. I want a good Indian restaurant please, that serves onion bhaji, pakora, mango chutney and all. The closest one that I can find is in Brickfields. But, but, Plymouth’s is better. *cry*

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
