Follow me on Twitter!

Twitter is a microblogging trend. It’s very useful especially you’re trapped in an exclusive event, and want to tell the whole world how fab it is. Just send the updates to Twitter using your mobile phone and whalla! Your followers will be updated. It ‘s useful widget that’ll update me about NY Fashion Week although I’m 16 hours apart from the event.

This morning Jennine Tamm from IFB (The coveted) followed me on Twitter. Oh fab! I can get her blog updates easily now.

Oh, I hope that I’ll have more duit raya this year so that I can buy another fab phone.

Being 23 years old.

Alhamdulillah (all praise to Allah). Allah gives me another chance to breath and taste this life. He allows me to live for 23 years. What would life be without Allah? I couldn’t imagine. It must be the worst of the worst. Lowest of the lowest. Life would be meaningless and restless. *scary* I know the fact that to err is human, and I am merely human who is always imperfect. And we as human should always ask for forgiveness from him. We always need help from Him and depending on Him. Merely a slave who needs His blessings and love (rahmat and rahmah). I wonder what would happen if God is angry at me? That is my greatest fear.

Today is UPSR as well and I miss my Year 4 pupils. They always flatter me with nice words and drawings. A girl told me “teacher I want to get you a cake but then that time is puasa”. I replied, “it’s OK. I don’t mind”. They told me that they want to get me something special for my birthday but I said “Your good result in PKSR and UPSR is the best present for me”. Alhamdulillah they agreed to study hard.

Celebrating birthday with my friends is really nice. I really appreciate their effort. But being blessed by Allah is priceless. I have another chance to improve myself as a Muslimah and living this life to the fullest 🙂

I already got my cupcakes. My pupils even gave me advanced birthday present (that was way before merdeka celebration). What else do I want apart from God’s blessings and happiness in life?

I thank god for giving me good friends as well. I thank god that I learned from them and living this life and making me being me. Being 23 makes me think more about life. Life in thereafter.

New York Fugshion week

It’s New York Fashion Week! I couldn’t help it!

Oh, have I told you that I watched The Dark Knight like, thrice? Christophe Lemaire, apparently was inspired by the hit movie. The most left design was inspired from The Joker’s checkered pants, back in Jack Nicholson‘s time (not the gay cowboy, Heath Ledger). Two-face fashion is obviously inspiring. Oh, Harley Quinn as well. Impressive. It’s villain’s time! Where’s Poison Ivy? That’d be picture perfect. The whole union of Batman’s villains.Oh wait. It’s autumn. The leaves are falling.

Ouch. Pardon my PMS. Will this hurt, Lemaire? Excusez moi.

[I feel good when writing this entry. My first fug entry ever. During PMS. aih~ *relief*]

Pilates and yoga

I tried pilates for abdomen last time (in Women’s Weekly August 2008) and it worked. So I searched for its book in MPH. Unfortunately, the one that I saw on the shelf is so expensive. Rm60 for A5 size book. Last week, I was trying to tracked Mas, but on the way, I found this huge book of pilates and yoga, costs at Rm29.90.

Without any delay, I grabbed and paid. The pictures are helpful and vivid. It’s not a substitute for yoga guru. Anyways, it’s a good try. Worth it.

Blogging hiatus

I have been on a long hiatus and this is the reason why.

I was helping some teachers with the preparation of merdeka celebration and I was calling some people for help. My phone was by my side when I was doing my work. The only time I left my phone with those presents was when I push the boxes into a room, which distance is less than a metre.

When I want to tidy up, I leave nothing on the couch and need to prep for next class. Before I entered my class, I planned to take some pictures using my phone. I scrambled my inside bag, scoured the place that I had been and found none. Tried to ask my friend to call my number and it was shut. Then I realised it was nicked. The room which I entered was my GPK’s room. He had his laptop open, and possess same phone, but my, he was lucky. There were many people entered the office that day. Strange parents not to be mentioned. So, no suspect and I have to accept the fact. I entered my class with mixed feelings. I planned to teach them and it all went to the bin.

When the students misbehave, my throat feels dry and tears dwelling in my eyes. I warned them and looking at them with an austere expression. They did keep quiet. Afraid that I’d become a monster or  any other alien creature.

I really miss my Sony Ericsson K530i. It’s my blogging tool. I took pictures with it. Read RSS feeder. Check my blog’s comment from there (yes, I’m a narcissist). Video call. MMS everything. Seriously. I miss it so much. So click this to help me (emotionally, financially).

What I’m worried now is the person who were  nicked my phone will use my pictures irresponsibly. *takottttt* Oh oh, what if he uploads my pic on gadis melayu. Huwarghh *cry*

SEED cafe Midvalley

If you are looking for cheap, delicious and comfortable ambience for makan place and near to your favourite apparel store, you should read this.

I couldn’t think of better words to describe the cafe, thus, I quote the site.

Seed Café, is chic personified. It exudes a cool aura and this is its main selling point. The restaurants concept adapts a contemporary and simple outlook. The design and decoration gels in with Seed’s youthful and trendy image. It’s simple and tempting, serving a mix of Asian and Western food. (taken from Seed Cafe site)

There was not many people (there were 2 or 3 people that time, around 7pm) so we got our meal pretty quick (in 10 minutes I reckon). I didn’t even managed to finish reading magazines which are conveniently placed near customers’ dining table.

SEED cafe is a perfect place for fashionistas to hang out. After you had done your shopping, fill your stomach with good food from SEED cafe. The food is absolutely delicious and addictive (now I sound like chefs from UK. haha). Even Nisa had craving of SEED cafe’s chicken chop when she was in Perak.

Behold! I’m going to show off some good food from SEED cafe~ Continue reading
