Air yang bersih

Sepatutnya post ni diterbitkan pada 15 Oktober. Namun sebab banyak hal sekolah belum sempat siap, maka bila pulang lambat, lepak lalu tiada kesempatan berblog.

Air, anugerah tuhan yang tidak ternilai. Bagaimana kita nak berwuduk kalau tiada air?

Setiap hari kena minum air.

Bila aku nasihatkan murid-murid aku, mereka kata “malulah cikgu”.

Selangor berikan bekalan air bersih percuma.

Bersihkan sungai, bersihkan lautan, amalkan ketelusan.

Air untuk kehidupan.

An invitation for bloggers

Dearest blogospheres,

I wanted to let you know about an important online event I’m taking part in on October 15th, called Blog Action Day. Each year bloggers from more than 100 countries come together and blog about a single important issue, and this year’s topic is clean water. The event includes thousands of blogs – including the White House blog and The Official Google Blog – and they’re looking for as many blogs to participate as possible, regardless of their size and focus.

UNICEF and Prime Minister calls for Kiwis to appreciate the value of clean water on World Water Day

I hope you’ll think about joining me for this event. If you want more information, check out the Blog Action Day site at http://blogactionday.change.org/.

Hope to see your post on the 15th!

resolutions

I arrived in Manjung last night, riding Plusliner. Debor juga naik bas itu. Tapi itulah, “mati kat mana-mana pun boleh”.

Ok. There are ups and downs in 2007, but I think it’s the most saddening year in my life.

I lost my aunt and not able to call my family as I was in Dublin, Ireland.

I fall sick often. 2007 witnesses how fragile I am. Being allergic to many stuffs.

Dissertation was pain in the ___, especially when something bad comes in between, coping with dissertation and my unstable emotion is hard, but I managed to do it with supports from people who love me.

Leaving MARJON means I am leaving my luxury life. No cleaner to clean up my bedroom and house. No 24/7 internet connection. No individual (read: princess) bedroom. No more trips to ASDA. I no longer have chance to binge various types of cheesecakes, Haagen Dasz ice cream, Ben and Jerry ice cream not to forget, chocolate, Italian food, and many more! *sob*

OK. my maal hijrah resolutions.

1. improve, each and every day, in every sense.
2. have passion and faith in Malaysian education.
3. read more (Quran verses and books)
4. lose weight until 53 kilos.
5. not to be brokenhearted again.
6. climb hill/mountain
7. go to gym at least once a week
8. save more money for rainy days and my future.
9. buy a nintendo wii sports package (then I’ll stop going to the gym)
10. love people more and love more people.

I will evaluate my self at the end of this year. I don’t plan to do much this year because I’m bloody mentally tired. I don’t want to aim to do something big, but I plan to go with the flow.

Wonder why I don’t talk about relationship (read: engagement and wedding) anymore? coz I’m a grown up girl and talking about it, when you’re not sure of it, hurts. Especially when it is not menjadik. Hence, the #5 resolution takes place this year.

Kurang lojika

Saya tahu badan saya sangat penat. Otak saya lagi la penat. Tapi semangat kena kuat. Walaupun ada je orang nak pull me down.

Badan sudah sakit-sakit. Memang saya sangat amazing. Sengal belakang tu sampai tahap buat-buat tak tahu. mata tiba-tiba bloodshot, berjaya dikurangkan semasa girls day out. Right. It proves that shopping is theraphy and heals one’s sickness.

So, the battle goes on. How to save a life? I just move along and few people who cares and keep on asking about me, makes me go on. Unbelievably, miracle happened. Even I myself was quite proud, because I did not make any sense previously. I was doing mixing and matching. I was so blur and disorganised. I was a wreck. But thanks. He showed me guidance and send helpers. If I deserve it, I do.

So I went to Roborugh surgery. Went to see nurse Margo again. Doctor Brodribb is quite busy I reckon. Or he just does not want to see me? His hand was full? So yeah. The rain was pouring heavily from dark sky above. I was cold and alone.

I told Margo, I thought I got myself tonsil. I barely can speak. Swallowing my own saliva is like eating rocks. Oke. Rocks are exaggerated. Pebbles. And then my hand, is like Doraemon’s this morning. Don’t tell me how to clasp. Luckily I don’t handle knife or blades. Basically, my hand is chubby. Happened before but ignored and allow self-healing. Whatever.

Diagnosis: My throat was a bit pink. My body temperature was slightly high but not worrying. My ears are OK. My gland is OK. My lips are fuller (Imagine Angelina Jolie people). My hand is chubby, but cute. I can’t believe this as well but Margo said, my hand is swollen because I type too much. Huh. Geek la sangat. Yes. I got response like “Astaghfirullah “. Huu~~ my broken back needs to get laid (check the dictionary. there are 66 definitions for ‘lay/laid’) Thankyouverymuch. Aite. time to get rest.

Tampo nak?

I wonder why you read this entry to the end. This is a rant. Hahah.

Esok-esok lah jawab tag cik Tinker. Penat beno.

An exciting story of Ramadhan

Today, in Steve Ansell‘s class, we had total fun. So what we did today in class was, we produced a story.

  1. As a group (9 people in a circle table), we need to produce an agreeable title. We chose ‘an exciting story of Ramadhan.
  2. Then we need to produce an agreeable first line. So the line is ‘Ramadhan comes again’. So it’s ambiguous as Ramadhan can be the month or a person.
  3. Then, individually, we need to continue the sentence. Not more than 15 words, in 30 seconds (but to be precise it’s 1 minute).
  4. Then, clockwise turn, we need to exchange the paper. Continue to write the next sentence, based on previous sentence.
  5. As there are 9 people, the paper was written by 9 authors, 9 times.
  6. When the paper reached the original author, the original author needed to read the whole story, and gave a sensible (or crazy) ending to the story in about 30 words.
  7. Next, we were grouped into smaller groups (from 3 big groups to 8 small groups). We need to share the story with others, and pick the best story.

So, here’s my paper after been scraped by my friend (different colours means different author):

Ramadhan comes again. I am very excited about it as I’ve been waiting for it for eleven months. I am so happy. I hope this Ramadhan is going to be better than the last one. But, it turns out to be the best Ramadhan I ever had. I plan to have breakfast with my close friends and Mak Ucu. But Mak Ucu has just informed me that she is going to break fast with Datuk K alone. “Why?” shouts, cries me. After I get myself together, I realised that Mak Ucu is Datuk K’s wife. Why? Mak Ucu? Why? Compared to others, I prefer Mak Ucu. She can help me with raya preparation. Moreover, Mak Ucu has an estimated assets worth 20 millions. This is the best Ramadhan ever.

Review on TV3’s cerekarama: Mencari syurga

Pergh. We are more British than the British. OK enough of that let us read the synopsis and I insert here and there some review or commentary.

Life and death (and life after death)

Assalamualaikum (peace to be upon you). Sometimes I wonder, what are they (orang putih, non-muslims) thought of death? I do not have the answer as I haven’t ask them as well. I watched ‘A nightmare on the Elm street‘ (all of them) and ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ (until season 3). Firstly, my opinion on the horror movie is, people are scared to die. Same as well to my favourite medic drama. They think that they have so much to do in this world. Not prepared to leave this world yet. That’s why the horror movie is a hot selling pancake. Kenapa menulis blog?

Bismillah. Jadi, kenapa menulis blog? Continue reading
