Pastelina (Apparels) Design dia memang sangat cute. Girls like fashion

Girls are like fashion brand

This post is full with metaphors and figurative language. I hope you get the message.

Girls are like fashion brands. There are brands which belong to high street fashion. The boutique exists almost anywhere. They are effortlessly stylish but they are affordable. Statistically, major goes for high street fashion.

There are a few who can afford exclusive fashion brand like Louis Vuitton and Fendi. They are either patiently collect money over a long time, or they are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. People appreciate exclusive brand and take a good care of it greatly. One may want to put exclusive brand in a special glass case. Not wanting other people to touch it. Not many can own it. Thus, it is so special that it is not being paraded.

There are cheaper and fake brands. But many won’t have pride in wearing these brands. Usually, these brands are quickly perished and replaced with a new one. Also, they are usually be put on the floor, as there are not much value of it.

Guys are like eBay bidders. Good eBay bidders would wait for the most wanted item. Of course, the most wanted item is wanted by everyone and many would like to chase the same item. They are willing to put the highest price, snapping others. There are bidders who would patiently wait for the good stuff and get the best bargain.

So, which brand you want to be?

Fesyen berkabung

Memetik kata-kata hikmah Ustaz Zamri (ustaz sekolah aku laa) “Dari suruh orang pakai songkok renda putih, baik la suruh orang sedekahkan Al-Fatihah”

Al-Fatihah.

Bismillāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm
Beginning is with Allah’s personal name Ar’Reh’maan Who is The Fountain of Infinite Mercy.

Al ḥamdu lillāhi rabbi l-‘ālamīn
The Infinite Glory and Praise eternally is entirely and exclusively for Allah, the Sustainer Lord of the Known/Existing Worlds.

Ar raḥmāni r-raḥīm
The Sustainer Lord of the Worlds is Ar’Reh’maan Who is The Fountain of Infinite Mercy.

Māliki yawmi d-dīn
Ar’Reh’maan is the Master/the Sovereign/Holder of the Day of Resurrection/Judgment.

Iyyāka na’budu wa iyyāka nasta’īn
[Our Sustainer Lord Ar’Reh’maan] You are the Only Whom we solely and exclusively owe allegiance and servitude and You are exclusively the One we look for help to elevate ourselves.

Ihdinā ṣ-ṣirāṭ al-mustaqīm
[Our Sustainer Lord Ar’Reh’maan] You guide us on the Straight/Even Path leading to destination;

Ṣirāṭ al-laḏīna an’amta ‘alayhim ġayril maġḍūbi ‘alayhim walāḍ ḍāllīn
the path journeyed by those upon whom You showered blessings which is other than of those who made themselves liable to criminal cognizance/arrest and nor is that adopted by the neglectful wanderers.

Online boutique 101

I am glad there are many online boutique nowadays.  I miss the time (in Plymouth) when I was able to buy apparels from high street fashion boutique like Dorothy Perkins, eBay and Topshop.

When I Google for Malaysia’s high street online fashion boutique, the result was nil. However, there are many personal online boutique in Malaysia. Hundreds of them. (Thousand I bet if it includes the blogs that sell accessories like handbags and jeweleries). There are too many! I don’t know how to choose!  Then I found Emmagem Shopping Directory, the place that shares links of online boutiques. It is the site for Malaysian fashionistas.

I have a very essential question. What are the factors that made us feel safer (and happier) doing online shopping? Hopefully, this blog post will help the buyers decide better, and the sellers sell more. Quid pro quo! Continue reading

Movie that I’m addicted to

We believe in destiny because we met because of the destiny.

If you haven’t watch “Slumdog millionaire”, I highly recommend that movie for you. It was inspired by a novel (Q & A by Vikas Swarup), produced using low budget. The actors are using British accent (with some mixture of Indian accent as well) and they are not A-list actors and actresses, mind you. They are from slums and nobody. But the movie have become a phenomenon in any cinema worldwide. This movie is discussed widely, because of its’ religious issues, poverty, romanticism and all. This movie is worth to be watched many times and in case you want to buy the original DVD or Blue-ray disc. I give three thumbs up for this movie! Continue reading

Pumps vs stilettos

[Pending entry, after so long]

I only have one pair of stilettos. Just for the sake of trying my ability to walk in 4 inches heels shoes. I can’t go around that much. Tried it once in Mid Valley. I end up swapping with another shoe that I purposely brought along, in case my feet hurt. My instinct was right and I was saved by my Hush Puppies. *phew*
People wonder how can I walk in stilettos. The answer is, of course, in pain. There are times we don’t mind the pain for the sake of having sexy pair of legs. We should not be a slave anyway. The shoe manufacturers do not provide insurance in the shoe box (insurance for arthritis case, or backache). I like to wear them because, while walking, my solemate gives some exercise to the feet.

Pumps work better. Suitable for big calf and big ankles. Pumps are just as sexy as stilettos. That’s what I call investment.

Uh oh, another story. My CR kitten heels were worn out.

In the end, he told me. “Look at me. I am wearing the shows for 6 years and I’m healthy, satisfied and happy”

“Mind to tell me what kind of shoes you’re wearing?”

“Sneakers”

“Yah! But you’re a boy. You don’t have to wear heels”

“You still can wear sneakers. We both have legs”

I rest my case.
